Baseball Career:  Optimist club baseball in El Paso, TX, High School Baseball at J.M. Hanks High School in El Paso, College Baseball at TCU (Yes, Texas CHRISTIAN University) in Fort Worth, TX,  minor league baseball in the Padres and Ranger organizations, Lots of Softball in Texas and Minnesota, Over 35 baseball in the Gaulke League with the New Hope Bandits, Classic and Federal Leagues with the Minnetonka Saints, over 30 Baseball with Minnesota Saints in  Florida (where he received MVP honors in 2002). 

Education:  Graduated from  J.M. Hanks High School, Graduated from TCU with a degree in Bio-Medical sciences (Emphasis on Anatomy/physiology) & Computer Science, Received his Masters in Physics from TCU.

Business/Career:  After College, he was accepted to Medical School but deferred to play baseball, when the baseball career was over, he never wanted to see a doctor again so he took his  hobby of flying to a new level and continued his education at TCU as well as received his Commercial Pilots license. His first Job was flying cargo out of Dallas Love field in the middle of the night every night.

After building enough hours he was finally able to land a corporate job flying for Mary Kay Cosmetics (Yes, the plane is PINK). After realizing that it was a really cool job, if you didn't want a social life, the decision was made to fall back on the degree that his wise father made him pursue (Computer Science). A few development jobs and finally a move to Minneapolis, where it was discovered that he was a better project manager than developer, he has ended up where he is today. Currently Director of Professional Service for a software Company based in Pittsburgh, PA. His responsibilities include current and future implementations, Services contracts, and Operations. 

Hobbies:  Baseball, Baseball, Baseball, Watching Baseball, Twins, Woodworking, Brewing Beer, watching movies, playing with my mutts, coaching Brett in Baseball and Football, basketball and racquetball in the off season, oh, I almost forgot, Drinking beer, talking baseball and hanging out with my buds!.

Claim To Fame:  Mike still thinks he looks like actor George Clooney.
