Fields & Directions

Here is a list of the fields that will be used during the fall
league and some general directions for finding them.


Dred Scott
This is the field generally used by Crosstown Traffic.  It is located at Old Shakopee and Bloomington Ferry roads just a couple of blocks east of Hwy. 169.  There are two baseball fields but we will be using field #1 on the south side of the complex near the volleyball courts.

Loretto
This is the home of the HPK Oilers.  It is located in Loretto about 10 miles west of 494.  Take Hwy. 55 to the stoplight at Hwy. 19 and go left for about 3/4 of a mile and the field is down the hill on the right side.

Dunning
This is the home of Blockbusters and is located at Central High School in St. Paul.  Take I-94 to Lexington Ave. and go south to the first stoplight then go right.  The field is located on the west side of the school on the right hand side of the road.

Alimagnet
This is one of the primary fields for this fall and it is located in Burnsville.  From the metro take either 35 E or W south to county road 42 (Crystal Lake Road) and go east about 1.5 miles to county road 11.  Go left (north) and take the third right just before you go down the hill.  You will see a sign at the entrance that says Alimagnet Park.

Monticello High School
This is the home of the Monticello "Monti Pythons".  I94 West to 1st Monticello Exit. Take left on CR 18 (Exit 194) and go back over I94.  Take a right on Chelsea Road and go about ½ mile Field is on left.

Cold Spring
This is one of the parks that HPK is going to be using in 2008.  It's a long way away from the cities but it's a really nice ball park. Take  I-94 west to Highway 23 exit - - (Highway 23 exit to Cold Spring is about 50 minutes from the 494-694 split in Maple Grove.)   Go WEST (left) on highway 23 About 10 miles to Cold Spring—in Cold Spring go to 2nd set of lights and take a right on Red River Ave.  Go 2 blocks and take a left on 1st Street Go up the hill and a couple of blocks and park is on your left.

Miesville
This is another park thatHPK might use.  It's also a long way away but it is a beautiful park too.

Victoria
This park is actually called Diethelm Park and is located in Victoria a few miles west of Eden Prairie.  It will be used by the MN Saints and you can find it by driving west from 494 in Eden Prairie on hwy 5 to Victoria which is about 10 to 12 miles.
Turn left at traffic light (County Rd 11) to County Rd 18 and 43 intersection (approx. half mile). Turn left on 18.  Look for sign for right turn to Ice Arena/Community Center (again approx. half mile).  After the turn, the arena building will be directly ahead.  Turn left in parking area just before building.  Baseball field is directly behind.

Kelly Field
This is an alternate home park for Crosstown Traffic.  Take 35W to 98th St. then go east to Nicollet Ave. and go south to 102nd.  Go left for one block then turn right into the parking lot.

Miller Park
Miller Park is in Eden Prairie and is being used by Crosstown Traffic. You can get to the park by taking the new 212 west from 494 and then taking the Eden Prairie Rd exit north to the park entrance on the left.  The picture on the Google link is old and does not show 212 running right past the field as it does now.

Rosetown
This is the home of the Rosetown Rockets.  Take Hwy 36 to Dale Street go north past County Road B-2 and go down the hill / turn left into the soccer fields parking lot / the baseball fields are straight behind the parking lot / at the bottom of the hill behind the American Legion Building.

Kohler Field
Another field used by Rosetown.  This is on County Road F E in Vadnais Heights.

Franlo Park
The home of the Eden Prairie Ravens.  Take Highway 169 to the County Rd 1 (Pioneer Trail) Exit. Take County Road 1 west to the first stoplight, which is Franlo Rd. Take a left and the complex is a couple of blocks down on the left.

New Hope
This is also the home of Eden Prarie.  Take Highway 169 to 49th Ave. N. and go east about 2 blocks and the field is on the left.

Hastings
Veterans Park is the field used by Cottage Grove and is conveniently hidden on the south side of Hastings.  Take Hwy. 55 or Hwy. 61 to Hastings and head through town like you're going to Miesville and then take a left at 316.  Take the First left onto Spiral Blvd. and then follow that almost to the end and take a left into the Veteran's Park complex.  It's pretty well hidden.

East View
From 494, take Cedar Ave south to 140th street in Apple Valley - turn left (east).  Follow 2-3 miles until you cross Johnny Cake Rd. Field is on NE corner of the park.
