Baseball Background:  Started four years at Interstate 35 High School in Iowa (yes, it’s named after a highway…you can look it up!).  Played in the 1984 Iowa Shriner’s All-Star Series.  Started three years at Grand View College in Des Moines, IA.  As freshman, carried the equipment all the way to the 1985 NAIA World Series.  Always thought we would go back but fell one game short as a senior.  Named an NAIA Academic All-American in 1988.  Played town ball for the Heyworth Hornets (Illinois) from 1989 to 1995.  Moved to Minnesota in the fall of 1995 and didn’t play any ball for five years.  Joined the Apple Valley A’s of the Classic league in 2001 and have been with them ever since.  I’ve also enjoying moonlighting in Florida with the Minnesota Saints/Minneapolis Millers since 2001.

Profession: Director of technology development for American Express Financial Advisors.  My team develops and supports the computer systems used to administer the insurance and annuity products sold through American Express.

Favorite Pro Team:  New York Yankees followed closely by the Minnesota Twins

Favorite Player:  Don Mattingly (the man could hit)

Favorite TV Show:  Seinfeld

Favorite Movie:  Field of Dreams (Is this heaven?  No, this is Iowa.)
