Baseball Background:   

Mike grew up on the modest east side of Bloomington with dreams of one day playing in the Roy Hobbs baseball spectacular.  He has worked hard and eaten a lot, and I mean a lot, of Wonder bread chased with milk.  Alcohol has never passed his lips due to living by the motto “My body is a temple”.  He truly wished his body was a playground :-J   His shyness has kept him from reaching his goal to be on a premier team like the Minneapolis Millers.  Some say his shyness makes him a bit awkward, though it may be his lazy eye.  He has worked on his game for hours as a short stop.  Some say one of the best kept secrets at the position.  He can catch but his ADD usually gets him hit in the mask or cup especially when birds are present or there are other players with the name MIKE.  His mother sends her appreciation to the Millers for getting him off the couch and out of her house even if it is only a short time.  She worries a bit due to the fact that her son has never played organized baseball except for the time he was MVP of the beeper ball tournament for the blind.
